What a delicious tragedy

6:28am, exactly 3 hours before my marketing exam, which I think I am quite confident at, is coming nearer and nearer. This is the perfect time for me to blog (after reading bren's message telling me to blog on FB).

I think I'm going through a phase where I stop trusting everyone who are my friends, or just general people I talk to. For some reason everything they say becomes a little harder to believe. Weird right? Yup. Like when people say maybe, it generally means maybe for me most of the time. But now, it just feels like they're saying no in the politest way possible. Which is a hosing and a half.

In other news, my exams are about to finish, I'm quite confident I will pass all of my exams. Except accounting, which is bit of a guess.

Weird but wonderful people on the trains makes people's days so much more colourful. I spoke to an "inventor guy" on the train so seems like an absolute bum with a really bad smoking problem who is trying to generate electricity with magnets. Call me crazy, but after explaining his theroies to me, he even got me to believe what he was saying... Then there's the girl who I thought was just a really girly looking boy... We exchanged eye contacts, which later on became funny faces. I didn't know 100% she was a chick untill I checked her out and she pulled her hood off, she had lovely blond hair. (I think she got off at airport station, should have went for her number as well. Hahaha..) By the way, now I have a taste for girls who wears boy short underwears. Yummy.

Having chinese takeaway for breakfast at 10.30 am rocks, there is nothing better than freshly cooked msg concentrated bits of questionable meat early in the morning. LOVE IT! SPICES IN MELBOURNE CENTRAL! YOU RIP ME OFF LIKE A HOEBAG EVERYTIME I GO THERE!! BUT YOU ARE STILL THE MOST CONVIENETLY PLACED CHINESE FOOD PLACE... EVER!

No stories for today, can't really remember considering this week has bee such a haze for me.

There's yer damn blog.

:D Love you all

Big world little Allen.

Another week of random thoughts just filtered through my head. Meeting new random people seems like a thing last week. First there was my gal-pal's ex-best friend Jess, who is a young aspiring blond runner with a dream and a boyfriend. She seems to care way too much about what other people are like, and seems to just... see people from the get go. In other words, shallow.

I felt like the world's smallest person, while I was talking to her, while trying to make a smart and polite conversation that continues to get shut down.... I guess, it's probably just me, as said by a friend, not everyone understands my humor.

The other is the Casino people, poker is awesome, and for some of you who don't really know me, I play some poker, I may not be the best player, I do enjoy the odd game and the colorful people. :) If someone's reading this that knows me from playing at crown. You're awesome.

Played in a GP Trial on Sunday as well, such a disappointment, which lead to a 3-2 result, pushing me out of the top 8. But Lindoran manages to mise his way into the top 8, so I stayed back and watched. Luckily he won the game through flying colors. I am very happy for him, also it means that I have to attend the Aramgeddon expo's GP Trials. Hopefully the higher price will cause a lack of attendence. Which might equals to a higher chance of me getting into some free byes!

Other smallers things include, congrats to Matt who got his first girlfriend, first kiss and stuff last week! I'm proud of you man! *Claps*

The other thing is, is it worthwhile applying for a part time job, but you'll only be working for about 20 days before taking a 2 months break?

Anyways, thanks for reading.

Open it up, disrespect is only a step away.

So this weekend was the leaving dates of a dear member of the Melbourne Magic community. Rob (AKA Choopa, drafting Giraffe, cool judge, 3 testicles in one room) is going to Boston. :( He will be sorely missed by the rest of the community no doubt, and best wishes for him and the missus in the US of A.

Third legging, officially sucks, especially being the wing man for a chick friend. Because the dude they're meeting are always intimidated by you. Which is not always a bad thing. Good thing the friend was not that interested in the guy (1 because he was semi drunk 2 because she was not really keen on meeting him in the first place). Also for the record, Infectious in Melbourne (The club) has now become a sellout, terrible music with fat girls on the first floor and random fights on the second + third.

I've been tubing around last week, it was huge. Heaps of interesting people out there....>> also fell in love with a random Hongkong show, guess it's back to my roots heh?

Hehehehe..

Also exam stress coming up! Good luck for all you uni creepers, and good luck for your exams you students!

Allen.

Weed out.

It's been about a month since my last blog, to be totally honest, the last month has been pretty damn boring. Went to a few outings, and finding things always the same as the last time I went out. Melbourne's nightlife is just... The same.

Friday 9th of October however was just a little different from a usual night of randomness. As usual the night started with a unplanned outing, then followed by me realizing wearing shorts and sandles was totally a bad idea when you're trying to get into clubs / pubs. Not even places that I go quite regularly liked the fact that I was not following the dress code.

Note: Sports bar has a LOT of 40 year old people, and I feel sorry for the 2 Bercardi girls who had to wear skimps and bring them drinks, harassment are always not welcomed.

A detour at Ann's work turned into a philosophical conversation with a 40 year old man about "sorry day" and the Australian outback. Which led to a free drink from the nice gentleman. It seems that he's going through some troubles in life with his family as well, and I wish him the best of luck with that.

It was also the first night I've ever gone to this place called Pony, sure it sounded cute, but what's inside shows what Melbourne's alternative culture is truly like. After walking in there and sitting down, I felt really really gross... There were midget girls, guys wearing balaclavas, freaky looking Asian kids with really weird hair and of course, the blasting of grunge rock music filled the small 2 story complex.

Note: Never walk around in crowded places with little or no shoes.

Next couple of places was somewhere familiar, Eurotrash was really cold, but we still manage to spend a few hours dancing away followed by me hitting on a lovely girl in a red dress. This was of course semi alcohol induced in combined with peer pressure. (Turned out her boyfriend was about a meter behind her, so she gave me a hug said she was flattered and it ended with that. Haha).

Note: When it's past 2 am, door bitches don't really give a shit what your wearing.

The night ended with the three of us (Patty, which we picked up @ Ann's work)
Sitting infront of the Melbourne University's Law building cutting grass.

Note: Smoking tobaco + *cough cough* tastes like smoking it through old socks.

Suddenly @ 5am, I got a call, it was Lindorian and he hollared me to the shop. Yes, 5 in the fucking morning I was told to go and play MAGIC, after a night out. Still, I was there with the boys. We were about to start a round of 2 headed giant winston drafting, sadly after the picks were made, Jesse and I fell asleep, so Issac and Lindorian had to play 1v1 with 2 decks, which was the lolz. Ann at this time was also asleep on the floor.

Note: If you don't usually walk alot, walking + drinking = painful legs in the morning.

While having a smoke last night, I thought about a lot of things, where do we come from? Why am I slightly overweight? Who shot JFK? Maybe I was a little under the influence, but it made me realise that there are so much crap in this world that I shouldn't be worrying about. (Granted, being slightly overweight should be something I should be worrying about) Hehehe... So as of today, probably should stop caring so much about the small things in life and worry about what is acutally important.

Ranting! rant rant rant + (Miss Melbourne? Part 1)

:) Hi hi hi!!

This is yet another update of my life. Seems a little too soon, but it has been two eventful days. Someone very close to me has told me that they want to end the relationship that we've had so far and eventually put the relationship to a stop. I was very upset about this... Hence the msn name for them kiddies close to me.

After getting up at 4 pm the night before, I decided it was healthy to try and bend my bio clock back to what it should be, so I didn't really sleep that night. I spent the entire night talking to a few of my buddies, watching friends and pondering about random crap. Seems relatively constructive.

Then it was off to playing my new addiction "Heavenly Sword", it's a fantastic PS 3 game that I borrowed from Matt (thanks for that by the way) and I've been playing it non stop since I got it. After a few hours of intense gaming, I decided to take a shower and go out. (Skipping university because I just felt kinda shyte) While having breakfast, I decided to see if I can drag anyone to hangout with me. I ended up contacting a friend from Chinese school in year 11, Janice, who I haven't really seen in about 8 month to come out with me. Obviously she said yes (totally unexpected) so we decided to meet and have lunch. After having trouble calling her telling her that I arrived earlier than expected. (because she gave her old phone to her MOTHER) We caught up and had a great chat catching up. But the highlight was sitting at Melbourne Central Gloria Jeans, we pretty much just started bitching about people walking past and pointing out the flaws. A quote said by Jan was "Why judge yourself when you can judge other people?" I was like "OMG YOU ARE SO RIGHT!" There was also some weird conversation in reguards to crapping out money, crazy barbie hairs and carrot legs.... Good times.

After that, I met up with Matt and we decided to see The Mummy 3, we got the ticket an hour before the show. Meanwhile, I got a delightful phone call from a female friend of mine who just returned from a so called "state hopping" trip. It was a hezzy phone conversation of me telling her to come and meet us at MC and her being lazy and needing her hair trimmed. Then she told me she periced her left nipple, quite suprised, I decided to ask random questions, being a guy of course I asked the obvious "can I see it?" question and was turned down, a few times. Hehehe...

All in all, the Mummy 3 was relatively average, nothing compared to the first movie of course, the one where we fell in love with Brendan and his goofy acting. 7 years later, its still the same, which was VERY dissapointing. But if you're into that kinda action movie, it's worth a watch.

After the movie, it was a journy around Swanston street and surrounding areas to take some photos for a small thingo that I'm about to post. And a short trip to Meta Games (my favourite store EVER).

On the train ride home, I manage to fall asleep on the shoulder of the girl next to me twice. She was kindly enough (or scared shitless) to let me do it for some strange reason, untill she had to get off.

Lovely day, manage to let out some steam.

Love you all kiddies.

100,000 sperm and you were the fastest?

Probably? I mean, every new life is a lucky one. I guess I'll just start the ranting from here. I was inspired by a lovely young lady to start writing some rants about my life. And this is probably a outlet of some sort.

6.28 am now, still haven't really slept, probably due to a combination of eating too much the night before (Mid Autumn Festival celebrations with mum) and all the procrastination about the coming week. It's probably not even as busy as I pictured it would be. But it's not going to stop me from ranting about it.

After a chat with the young lady mentioned earlier, it got me thinking. Do people regret the mistakes they make? And if it people do, how do they repair the damage they've dealt? Like that girl you asked out many years ago and ruined a great friendship? I supose at times like these, you can just say. "Everything happens for a reason."

And damn right, I am a believer.

None of this probably made much sense, but at least I did something constructive (ish) in the last 5 minutes.

Will blog again when I have the time

Allen Zhang.
